IAAS Nepal is Expanding! Your Campus: Next Global Agri-Hub!

Hey future agri-leaders! We’ve got some incredibly exciting news that will spark your passion for agriculture and student leadership. IAAS Nepal is on the move, and we’re inviting you to be the driving force behind our growth!

IAAS (International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences) NEPAL is a dynamic, non-profit student organization that serves as the national chapter of IAAS World. Established in 2015 B.S., IAAS Nepal operates exclusively in the field of agriculture and related sciences, consciously excluding political and religious tendencies to focus purely on student growth and professional development.

Our principal aim is straightforward yet powerful: to promote the exchange of knowledge, information, and ideas among students, and to improve mutual understanding with international countries and cultures. To accomplish these goals, we conduct impactful activities like project summits, national-level flagship events, seminars, workshops, campaigns, local/national/international meetings, exchange weeks, soft skill training, and small-scale development projects.

If you’re studying agriculture or related sciences and dream of making a real impact—not just locally, but globally—this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We are officially kicking off our nationwide campaign to establish new Local Committees (LCs) across more institutions in Nepal!

This is more than just an expansion; it’s a call to action for students who are passionate about agriculture, leadership, and empowering young people to lead change in the food systems and beyond.

Why Start an LC on Your Campus? It’s a Game-Changer!

Starting a Local Committee isn’t just about adding a title; it’s about gaining unparalleled opportunities and becoming part of something much bigger:

  • Go Global: You’ll instantly become part of the world’s largest student organization in agriculture, connecting you to thousands of peers and professionals across the globe.
  • Make an Impact: Take the lead in organizing your own impactful projects, international exchanges, and inspiring events right on your campus. This is where your classroom knowledge meets real-world application.
  • Connect and Network: Get direct access to a powerful network of national and international youth leaders, mentors, and stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
  • Skill Up: There’s no better way to enhance your crucial leadership and professional skills than by running a dynamic, international student body.

Are You Ready to Take the Leap?

We are looking for dedicated, pioneering students ready to take the initiative. Here is what you need to get started:

  • Institution: Your college must have an agriculture or related science program for students.
  • Team: You need a dedicated and motivated team ready to commit and take the initiative to lead the process.

The Path to Becoming an IAAS LC: Our Step-by-Step Process

Bringing IAAS to your campus involves a clear, structured journey from an interested group to a fully recognized Permanent Local Committee (PLC).

  • Submission: The completed form must be submitted by the proposed Local Director of the committee to the Vice President (VP) of External Relations.

2. Establishing & Admitting a Permanent Local Committee (PLC)
