APDM 2026 – From Himalayas To Horizon

The Asia-Pacific Directors Meeting (APDM) 2026 is the regional General Assembly of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences, bringing together IAAS National Directors and country representatives from across the Asia-Pacific region. This annual meeting serves as an important platform for regional dialogue, collaboration, and leadership development among students and young professionals in agricultural and related sciences.

For the year 2026, Nepal has the honor of hosting this prestigious international gathering. The event will be officially organized by IAAS Nepal, demonstrating Nepal’s continued commitment to strengthening youth leadership, academic cooperation, and sustainable agricultural development within the Asia-Pacific region.

APDM 2026 will be held from 4 to 6 June 2026 at Kathmandu University, located in Dhulikhel. The academic environment of the university will provide a suitable setting for meaningful discussions, professional networking, and knowledge exchange among regional delegates.

The primary objective of the Asia-Pacific Directors Meeting is to review regional activities, share experiences and best practices, strengthen cooperation among member countries, and collectively define future priorities of IAAS in the Asia-Pacific region. A key outcome of the General Assembly is the election of new Regional Board members, who will be responsible for guiding and coordinating regional initiatives for the upcoming term.
